Steve Turner

Chief Executive Officer

Steve Turner is the CEO, co-founder and majority owner of Spectrum Medical. Steve’s passion for cutting edge technology and his experience in business management has allowed him to grow successful international companies ranging from aircraft control systems to semiconductor plants. Since 2005 Steve has been fully committed to the healthcare sector.

Steve is intimately involved in the development of Spectrum Medical’s perfusion technologies and clinical information solutions. He believes that the integration of leading-edge hardware solutions and the meaningful use of high-quality patient data is crucial to improving patient care, satisfaction, and safety. His dedication to the global health-care communities is evident by the resources Spectrum Medical deploys in the development of its technologies and to providing the highest levels of customer service.

Mark Drain

Chief Financial Officer

Mark Drain is the CFO and co-founder of Spectrum Medical. After qualifying in practice Mark has held senior finance positions in a number of industries as diverse as Oil Field Services, Aerospace and Automotive. Since 1998 Mark has worked alongside Steve building a number of world class technology businesses.

In addition to the strategic financial management, Mark uses his breadth of experience to lead both the Operational and Regulatory functions of Spectrum Medical. With the ever increasing burden of regulation of medical devices and Health information technology Mark sees the integration of these three functions as crucial to the continuation of Spectrum’s commitment to customer satisfaction and patient safety.

Beatrix Hanisch

Vice President of International Sales

Beatrix joined Spectrum Medical in 2006 as Sales Manager for Germany following her relocation from Austria to the UK. Having progressed through a number of internal sales and marketing positions within the company Beatrix was appointed to a senior global position where she oversees all perfusion technology sales outside U.S. markets.

With her extensive knowledge of the world wide perfusion market Beatrix has consistently grown Spectrum’s share of the perfusion market to where customers in over 40 countries use Spectrum Medical products and systems. Beatrix currently leads a team of sales and technical specialists and is growing the footprint of Spectrum Medical globally via direct distributor relationships and key strategic partnerships.

Dean Haynes

Vice President of UK Operations

Dean joined Spectrum Medical in January 2012, with almost 30 years’ experience within the hydraulic and electrohydraulic manufacturing industry.

In that time he has pursued a progressive career path with management roles in production, engineering and supply chain, necessitating the development of strategic sourcing relationships, extensive travel in the Far East and procurement of high end technology capital equipment, along with an active involvement in a variety of commercial and integration activities.

He has also been responsible for setting up and developing production processes both internally and within the supply base, building operational capability and driving down costs in order to achieve operational efficiencies.

Jeremy Tamari

SVP of Global Perfusion Technologies

Jeremy joined Spectrum Medical in 2017 as Regional Sales Manager for Eastern United States.  Prior to the role with Spectrum Medical Jeremy worked for multiple medical device companies in the clinical and sales environment. His passion for outcome-based medicine is rooted from his clinical days where he took care of patients as a cardiovascular perfusionist.

With his wide-ranging knowledge of the extracorporeal life support partnered with value-based healthcare he gives a unique perspective to Spectrum Medical.

Jeremy will lead the research and development from a clinical perspective, clinical training and clinical partnership for perfusion technologies.
